A Passion That Started Early
Tina’s fascination with skincare and personal well-being has been part of her life for as long as she can remember.
"I went to boarding school with Tina, and even back then she was the go-to person for pimple creams, antiperspirants, and deodorants. She knew exactly what she was talking about," Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
In 2016, Tina took a bold step by sharing her experiences with natural health products on Instagram. Her account quickly gained traction, and she asked herself: “Why not sell the products I already love and recommend?” The answer came naturally, and not long after, the webshop was live.
As the webshop grew, Tina’s pregnancy made her rethink the product lineup. She searched for pure, natural skincare that was safe during pregnancy — but couldn’t find what she needed. That’s when she began developing her own skincare line, tailored to her needs as a new mom.
"In 2020, something happened she hadn’t expected. She never planned to create skincare herself. But after becoming a mom and facing skin challenges — including mild eczema on her son — she created her first product, a nourishing oil. Today, 40 products later, we have a full natural skincare range, from facial oils and serums to body care and baby products," Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
The Meaning Behind the Name
The name “Ren Lykke” reflects both the brand’s values and its founders’ philosophy. “Ren” means “pure,” highlighting their commitment to natural ingredients sourced from the best of nature. “Lykke,” Tina’s surname, also translates to “happiness” — symbolizing the joy she hopes to bring to customers through their products.
Holistic Skincare for a Balanced Life
At Ren Lykke, skincare goes beyond what you apply to your skin — it’s about what you eat, how you rest, and how you care for your mind and body.
"Skincare isn’t just about what you apply topically. It’s also about the right nutrition, hydration, quality sleep — and then using products that are made naturally, not chemically. We've always focused on creating products that are good for your body and the planet. We want our customers to feel safe and proud of the choices they make," Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
The products are designed with the whole family in mind. "Take our body balm from the kids’ range, for example — it’s super effective for dry skin and helps repair the skin barrier. And everyone at Ren Lykke uses our serum for hydration. I’m no skincare expert, but I can personally feel the difference," Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
The Lykkehuset Experience: Gua Sha and Flow Yoga
Ren Lykke is about more than just products — it’s about creating experiences that nourish both body and soul. At Lykkehuset in Vejle, visitors can enjoy Flow Yoga, Gua Sha facial massage, and aromatic sauna infusions — all aimed at restoring balance and well-being.
Milestones and a Growing Community
Ren Lykke has already reached impressive milestones. "Two of our products have each sold more than 20,000 units in the past 12 months," Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
This demand highlights the growing interest in natural, high-quality skincare that’s kind to both people and the environment.
Tina’s commitment has been key to the brand’s rise. With over 67,000 Instagram followers, she’s not only increased visibility — she’s built a loyal community that shares her values.
Taking Natural Skincare Beyond Borders
Tina and Kåre see strong potential in the international market, where demand for natural skincare is growing rapidly.
"Expanding Ren Lykke beyond Denmark is a big ambition of ours. Of course, there’s still lots to do at home, but we’re already preparing to take on new markets,” Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
Product development is central to this international strategy. "In 2025–26, we’ll expand our range even further with new additions that build on our current lineup," Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
Advice for Entrepreneurs: Passion, Flexibility and Honesty

"Honesty is key for us. We don’t make anything we wouldn’t stand behind ourselves." Tina Lykkegaard, Ren Lykke. Authenticity, both agree, is essential — believe in what you do, and be honest every step of the way.
"If you have a passion for something and truly love it, you’ll find your way," Kåre Kjærsgård, Ren Lykke.
He also stresses the importance of staying flexible and open to change. At Ren Lykke, they believe dreams should be nurtured — but the journey may not look exactly as planned. It’s this mix of passion and authenticity that has fueled their success.
