Here, you can learn more about how we comply with IT security and data management, ensuring that your information is not misused by third parties.

Data Processing Agreement

In all customer relationships, Pensopay handles personal data on behalf of our customers. In this context, our customers are the data controllers, and Pensopay acts as the data processor.

This means that both Pensopay and our customers are required to enter into a data processing agreement, which must meet the requirements set out by GDPR.

Pensopay uses the Danish Data Protection Agency's standard contractual clauses as our data processing agreement. This ensures that we fulfill our mutual obligation to establish a valid data processing agreement.

Trust and Our Actions

Your trust is crucial to Pensopay's relevance and future. You need to be confident that we handle sensitive data and payments in the right way. That’s why we take security very seriously and continuously focus on it.

Encryption

Pensopay complies with the regulations in the Data Protection Act and its related directives. In short, this means that data must be stored and transmitted in encrypted form, access to the system's data must be restricted by usernames/passwords, and everything that happens in the system must be logged.

PCI

Pensopay is certified annually to meet the requirements of the global forum PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). This organization brings together stakeholders in the payment industry to ensure a data security standard aimed at securing payments worldwide. Without an AOC (Attestation of Compliance), Pensopay would not be able to handle card data and thus process online payments.
