As a webshop owner, your time is your most valuable resource. Yet many hours are often lost to manual processes, such as searching for one specific order in an endless list of transactions. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Your pensopay dashboard has a range of built-in tools designed to give you a quick overview of your transactions.
In this post, we walk you through the 8 most important filtering options and show you how to combine them to make your day-to-day work much more efficient.
You get a better overview by using the filters in your pensopay payment overview. By combining criteria such as date, payment method (e.g. MobilePay or Klarna) and status, you can isolate specific data sets in seconds instead of searching manually.
In the Payments menu, you’ll find the Filters button to the right of the search field. These are the settings you can adjust to find exactly what you’re looking for:
|
Filter |
Use |
|
Acquirer |
Filter by e.g. Clearhaus or Nets to reconcile payouts. |
|
Currency |
Choose which currency you want to see your transactions in. |
|
Card country |
See where your customers are from, based on the country where their payment card was issued. |
|
Amount |
Find transactions within a specific price range. |
|
Date |
Limit your search to specific periods or months. |
|
Methods |
Filter payments by e.g. MobilePay, Klarna, Anyday and more. |
|
Status |
Filter your payments by specific stages, such as ‘Authorized’, ‘Captured’ or ‘Refunded’. |
|
Partial captures |
Find the more complex orders where only part of the amount has been captured. |
You handle complex searches by combining the filters with the regular search field. If you first filter by e.g. “Status” and then search for a customer’s email address or an Order ID, you narrow down the results quickly.
To make this concrete, here are three scenarios where the right filters save you a lot of time in the daily running of your webshop.
1. Finding specific orders quickly
Imagine a customer contacts you about an order of exactly DKK 1,299 placed during a recent sale. Instead of scrolling through hundreds of transactions, you can combine the filters.
When it’s time for stocktaking or bookkeeping, you may need to see the volume for one specific payment method, e.g. MobilePay, to reconcile it with your payouts.
Some payment methods let the customer pay in several instalments, or you may need to capture the amount in several stages (e.g. for split shipments). This can quickly make your overview hard to follow, because one order can have several transaction lines.
