Google Pay is a digital payment platform developed by Google that enables users to pay quickly and securely from an Android device where they are logged into their Google account.
Google Pay is Google's own digital wallet, allowing your customers to pay in your online store without having to pull out their physical payment card.
When customers pay with Google Pay, they simply select the card saved in their Google account. The system uses secure tokenization, which means that actual card details are not shared with the merchant. Instead, a unique encrypted code is sent. This makes Google Pay one of the most secure payment methods while minimizing time spent at checkout.
To use Google Pay, your customers simply add their card to the app. They can then make contactless payments in physical stores by holding their device over the payment terminal, or use it online on websites and apps that support Google Pay.
Google Pay can also be used for recurring subscription payments.
Are you interested in adding Google Pay as a payment method for your online store? You can activate Google Pay directly from your pensopay account. Google Pay will appear in your payment window, and if your online store supports it, you can also display it directly at checkout. Unfortunately, if you use Shopify, you cannot offer Google Pay via pensopay, as Shopify does not allow it.
