Interview: Zoles.
Cecilie Lisberg and her father, Per Lisberg, both share a great passion for sports and 3D technology. This passion led to the founding of their company, Zoles. Zoles produces custom 3D-printed insoles and has made it easier for consumers to seek knowledge and guidance in finding the perfect insole. Cecilie and her team participated in this year's season of the entrepreneurship program Løvens Hule (Lion's Den), season 9, episode 7. They are currently featured in the follow-up program Løvens Hule – velkommen til virkeligheden.
As a former athlete, having the right insole was crucial for Cecilie, as she has flat feet and could quickly experience pain and even injuries. She understands the importance of having the right foot position, both when playing sports and in daily life.
Many pains in the knees, hips, lower back, and spine often stem from incorrect foot positioning. Pain and injuries can lead to inactivity. Being physically active is vital for maintaining a good mood, as it involves social interaction, provides renewed energy, strengthens health, and reduces stress and anxiety. According to Sundhed.dk, physical activity extends life, reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and type-2 diabetes, and positively influences your metabolism and hormone systems.
So, if you're dealing with minor aches or injuries that prevent you from being as active as you'd like, it could be that your feet are the real problem and the cause of these issues.
Zoles aims to address this issue. Zoles' chatbot assesses your needs and any potential injuries that should be considered, similar to the staff you would meet in a physical store. Next, using the camera on your mobile or tablet, you can scan your feet, allowing Zoles’ 3D model to identify 38 points on your foot that map your foot position.
With Zoles' unique knowledge and technology, you'll receive a custom insole for both everyday use and sports.
“I have faithfully watched Løvens Hule (Lion's Den) every year, and I’ve seen each episode at least once. So, it was quite nerve-wracking when we received a call asking if we wanted to participate,” Cecilie Lisberg, Zoles.
Cecilie and Zoles were fortunate to secure two skilled investors: Tahir Siddique and Thomas Visti. Cecilie shares that they had actually targeted these two gentlemen even before the program.

“Moreover, it truly requires willpower and dedication. You must be prepared to work hard and realize that things often take three times longer than planned. If you still find it reasonable and financially viable, then just go for it,” Cecilie Lisberg, Zoles.
“After encountering several unresolved issues with our previous payment solution, we decided to seek new paths. With recommendations from our network about your strong customer support, we chose you,” Cecilie Lisberg, Zoles.
Thank you for your time and kind words, Cecilie. We are proud to call you and Zoles our partner.
Best of luck with everything moving forward; we look forward to following your journey.
